Barley seeds
Axereal Slovakia sells sealed, second generation barley seeds to our partners in order to guarantee an adapted yield potential and a follow up for our beer producer and malting partners.
In compliance with our production contracts, we buy the right quality crop with contracting terms and conditions.
Our malting barley varieties
As part of our activities, we select suitable malting barley varieties in cooperation with our sister company Isterra, which produces seeds, in order to meet the expectations of malt producers. During production, we only sell sealed Grade II seed to our partners in order to ensure the appropriate yield potential and traceability required by both beer and malt producers. We purchase crops of suitable quality under growing contracts according to the terms of the contract and then resell them to domestic and foreign malt producers.
